Sarah first competed in gymnastics and was talented at uneven bars. An Arizona State Champion, she sparked a passion for golf after watching a Swedish professional golfer, Annika Sorenstam.
Eventually, Sarah achieved high ranks in both the National Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings and the Golfweek junior rankings. She then won the 2011 Arizona State High School Championship.
