The Australian duo suffered a 2-0 defeat against the Italian pair of Paolo Nicolai and Samuele Cottafava in the second group game played on 29 July 2024. Previously, they lost to Jonatan Hellvig and David Ahman of Sweden with the same scoreline in the first game on 27 July 2024.
Now, Nicolaidis and Carracher will feature in their last group game against the duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan of Qatar on 1 August 2024.
