Josh Martin is a new contestant in the 40th edition of America’s longest-running quiz game show, Jeopardy! His episode will air on 4 July 2024.
Jeopardy, hosted by Ken Jennings, is a quiz competition show that reverses the traditional question-and-answer format of many quiz shows. The contestants are instead given general knowledge clues in the form of answers and they must identify the person, place, thing, or idea that the clue describes, phrasing each response in the form of a question.

Martin announced that he was making a debut on Jeopardy! via his Facebook account on 18 June 2024. He wrote,
PROGRAM ALERT: I will be on an upcoming episode of Jeopardy! Tune in on the 4th of July to see me give answers in the form of questions.

Josh initially took the Jeopardy! online test about 10 years ago. However, he didn’t get a call from the showrunners.
Luckily, Martin got an email from the Jeopardy! team in the summer of 2022. He was then invited to take a proctored version of the test and participate in an audition and mock game over Zoom.
