Stromerson is an entry writer and graduate student from Woodinville, Washington. As a Jeopardy contestant, she is making her debut on the 16 June episode on Tuesday.

There, she will be up against a returning champion Isaac Hirsch, and Jay Fisher, a government relations manager from Lisle, Illinois.

Isaac clinched his ninth straight victory on Monday episode, where he won $20,001. A customer support team lead from Burbank, California, he has a total nine-day winnings of $215,390.

Meanwhile, Erika is also expecting the best result on her first Jeopardy appearance.

Where Is Erika Stromerson From?

Stromerson is from Snohomish, Washington, and was raised by her family there. Her family members include Patty Stromerson and Shelby Stromerson-Brewer.

As of now, she is 27 years old. She was born in the year 1997 and blows out her birthday candle in the month of March.

After high school, she went to Colorado School of Mines and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. There, she was involved in Oredigger Student Newspaper, American Society of Civil Engineers, Concrete Canoe Team, McBride Honors Program, and the Society of Women Engineers.

Erika is now pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Washington iSchool, studying Library and Information Science with interests in special collections, libraries of things, and Indigenous knowledge systems.

Stromerson is an entry writer covering the A/E/C industry, environmental and geological sciences, science writing and journalism, and academic writing and tutoring.

Currently, she serves as a photography and specimen entry at FossilEra, the largest online retailer of authentic fossil and mineral specimens. She joined the company in January 2023.

Prior to that, she was a STEM Instructor at Play-Well TEKnologies. Likewise, she worked as a technical writer at PND Engineers, Inc. from July 2021 to February 2022.

From May 2020 to July 2021, she held a part-time job as a writing tutor at Bellevue College. She also worked as a Peer Writing Tutor at Colorado School of Mines Writing Center.
