Jonquil Garrick-Reynolds is a contestant on America’s longest-running quiz game show Jeopardy! She is set to make her debut in the show’s 40th edition on 20 June 2024.
Jeopardy, hosted by Ken Jennings, is a quiz competition show that reverses the traditional question-and-answer format of many quiz shows. The contestants are instead given general knowledge clues in the form of answers and they must identify the person, place, thing, or idea that the clue describes, phrasing each response in the form of a question.

Drew, a Graduate Student from Birmingham, Michigan became a new Jeopardy! champion on Wednesday’s episode. With the win, he grabbed a cash prize of $23,482.
Apart from Basile, Jonquil will face a Superior Court Judge from San Diego, California, Bob Longstreth.

Garrick-Reynolds is originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She is a multiracial Dominican-Canadian with a Hispanic ethnicity.

Garrick-Reynolds was raised by her parents in Ottawa where she completed her high school education. She used to watch Jeopardy! alongside her grandparents from a young age.
What Is Jonquil Garrick-Reynolds’ Job?
Jonquil is a second-generation female stagehand. She has been serving as a Wardrobe Technician at IATSE Local 471 since February 1997.
As a wardrobe technician, Garrick-Reynolds is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and alterations of costumes. Likewise, she assists performers with costume changes backstage.

Jonquil is also active as a Social Media Manager at Moksha Yoga Orleans. She has been serving in the position since May 2013, responsible for all social media posts and interactions for the yoga studio across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
On top of that, Garrick-Reynolds sits on the Local 471 Political Engagement Committee, the Women’s Committee, and the Pride Committee.
Is Jonquil Garrick-Reynolds Married?
Jonquil is a married woman! She has been married to her husband, Jim Reynolds for more than 26 years now.
After dating for a while, the couple exchanged their wedding vows on 10 March 1998.
Her husband, Jim serves as a Head Carpenter at Southam Hall at National Arts Centre. He started the job on 1 June 1987.
